Years of Experience in ABA
Helped support several ABA programs
Claudia was first introduced to autism unexpectedly while enrolling in the only course available that allowed her flexibility in scheduling. That experience sparked a deep interest in the field, which quickly grew into a lasting passion when she observed her doctoral professor conduct a Functional Behavior Assessment with an adult woman residing in a group home who engaged in severe self-injurious behavior. The individual was deaf, blind, and nonverbal. Following the development and implementation of a behavior intervention plan, the self-injurious behavior was eliminated, her health stabilized, and she began communicating through cue cards.
Claudia has built and supported Applied Behavior Analysis programs for behavioral health agencies throughout Tucson and is the owner of a small ABA practice. She is excited to partner with United ABA Society to expand access to high-quality ABA services and positively impact as many families as possible through ethical, evidence-based care.
