Hugh Mbaezue is one of the Co Founders and Chief Executive Officer of United ABA Therapy, where his work is driven by a lifelong interest in human behavior, systems design, and meaningful care delivery. His path into behavioral health is not a traditional one—but it is precisely that intersection of disciplines that defines the foundation of the organization he has built.
Years of healthcare experience
Helped support several ABA programs
With a background in Software Engineering and Psychology, Hugh has always approached healthcare through both a human and analytical lens. Early in his career, he became deeply interested in how systems—whether technological or clinical—can either support or fail the people they are designed to serve. That curiosity evolved into a mission: to build healthcare organizations that are structured, ethical, and genuinely centered on the individuals receiving care.
Over the past seven years, Hugh has successfully owned and operated a multi-state home health agency providing caregiving services to seniors. Through this experience, he gained firsthand knowledge of the realities families face, the importance of dependable care teams, and the operational rigor required to deliver consistent services across multiple states. Under his leadership, the agency grew while maintaining a strong focus on compliance, caregiver support, and client dignity. His work in senior care naturally expanded into behavioral health, where he now also owns and operates a behavioral health home specializing in the treatment of alcohol and substance use disorders. Supporting individuals through recovery further shaped his belief in evidence-based care, long-term support systems, and addressing the full scope of behavioral and environmental factors that impact outcomes.United ABA Therapy was founded as a natural extension of these experiences. Hugh recognized a growing need for high-quality, ethical Applied Behavior Analysis services that serve both children and adults, while also supporting clinicians with the infrastructure they need to succeed. His vision was clear: create an organization where clinical excellence, operational stability, and compassion are not competing priorities—but inseparable ones.
As CEO, Hugh remains actively involved in shaping the organization’s clinical standards, operational frameworks, and long-term growth strategy. He is deeply committed to building a culture that values transparency, accountability, and collaboration, while ensuring that families receive individualized, meaningful care.Today, United ABA Therapy reflects Hugh’s belief that when behavioral health services are built thoughtfully—from the ground up—they have the power to create lasting change not only for individuals, but for families and communities as a whole.
Success in ABA therapy comes from consistency and trust. Our team works with your family to create structured schedules and achievable milestones that build long-term confidence and independence.
